Ed's painting is a local contracting company specializing in painting but capable of performing any contracting task- roof repair, scaffolding and construction, plumbing, electrial, whatever. They came to us asking if we could generate some customers for them. They were doing well, but wanted to expand and heard we could create a web presence for them. That's right, create- they had no website at all and were proving that it was still possible to run a business on word of mouth.
We thought we could help them by providing a quick-loading simple website that would let customers see their best work- and their best work was excellent; it all but sold itself- and send an email asking for a consultation. Ed isn't so big on technology though, so we wired up the contact form to send a text rather than an email. It might not seem like a big deal, but Ed appreciated that we were concerned with making something that worked best for him rather than what everybody else might have wanted. We might have thought that email worked better, but Ed knows how he and his company works best, so he's in charge.
