GroomCaptain Terms of Service

These terms apply to your use of GroomCaptain, a product of Goat Rodeo Software LLC. GroomCaptain provides scheduling and business-management software for pet groomers, especially mobile grooming businesses. By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you use it on behalf of a business, you must be authorized to do so.

Accounts and Business Records

Provide accurate account information, protect your sign-in credentials, and give access only to authorized users. You are responsible for the customer, pet, appointment and other business information you enter and for having permission to use it. Contact support if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

Using GroomCaptain

Use the service lawfully. Do not attempt to access another business's records, interfere with the service, bypass access controls, or send unauthorized messages. You remain responsible for your grooming services, customer agreements, scheduling decisions, prices and customer communications. Review estimates, suggested schedules and automated actions before relying on them.

Trials, Subscriptions and Payments

Trial duration, subscription prices, included allowances and billing terms are shown when you choose a plan or authorize payment. Review those details before subscribing. Features may depend on your plan, setup, device and location. Payment processing is provided through Stripe where enabled. Contact support@groomcaptain.com for billing, cancellation or refund questions.

Optional Integrations

You choose whether to connect Google Calendar or other supported services. Google Calendar connections identify your primary calendar, import free/busy periods, and, when export is enabled, create, update and delete GroomCaptain appointment and finalized-shift events on that calendar. Check the calendar's sharing settings before exporting customer or business information. Synchronization depends on permissions, connectivity and the third-party service, and may not be immediate.

You can disconnect Google Calendar in Settings → Time & Sync → Calendar Availability Sync, or revoke access in your Google Account. Disconnecting does not automatically remove events already exported. The Privacy Policy explains the information used and retained. Third-party services also have their own terms.

Messages and Privacy

You must have the permissions required to contact your customers and honor their communication preferences. The SMS Terms apply to GroomCaptain SMS notifications. Our Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, stored and shared.

Availability and Ending Use

Service interruptions, maintenance and third-party failures can occur. Keep copies of records needed for your business. We may restrict access to address misuse or security concerns. Contact support to end service or request deletion; deletion requests are reviewed and may require confirmation of your identity and authority over business records.
